Waterboy

Clay's playgroup had a get-together at a local splash park and we were very excited to go. Clay loves the water and he loves to play with the kids. He had the best time! He had never been to a splash park with that many fountains or that many kids so he was having a blast. I loved watching him run from one to another.

He is still really trying to figure out the whole social aspect of playing with other kids but he's learning. He has no problem walking up and gently trying to take a toy from another child. He also doesn't care if someone takes one from him. The whole sharing thing is going to take some time but I'm just glad he's not mean about it!

As usual, when he was done playing (45 minutes later), he came up to me and said, "Bye-bye water. Bye-bye fwiends. I get my shoes on. I go to park." There was a park connected to the splash park and Clay was already planning his next move. When he's done playing, he will come up and tell you. He's such a cute guy!

Pretty

Last night Mike and I were in the kitchen cooking dinner. Mike had given Clay two gummy worms to eat while we chopped vegetables.

Clay was really quiet in the living room until he started yelling, "Mama, Daddy, Mama, Daddy, pretttty, prettty!" Sure enough, it was a "Gummy Worm Window" masterpiece. He was so excited about his art (and so busy)that we let him continue. The windows can be cleaned later, creativity reigns!

Act Like a Lady

We're trying to teach Miss Carolina how to act like a lady from a young age.

Lesson #1: Keep your legs crossed in a dress. Check.

...Or maybe not.

She's So Fine

I can't get over how sweet this little girl is...

...and I'm not alone.
